The concept is 'the begetting'. Not a 'thing'. But I take your point in regard to the neuter article. The question is, what 'begetting' is in view and I firmly believe that it is the eternal begetting of the Son that is in view. Then to that 'begetting' is added (from Mary) that which is 'holy'. Thank you for input and I have up-voted it.
