The Torah, or five books of Moses consists of the books of Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy; the designation "Pentateuch" comes from the Greek πεντάτευχος, "five scrolls".
The Hebrew word "Torah" has a broad range of meaning. This tag is for the five books of Moses; for torah as meaning "law", use the law tag.
The torah is one of the three sections of the tanakh. The other two are prophets (nevi'im) and writings (ketuvim).
