Also known as the "Five Megillot" - a collective term for the books of Ruth, Song of Songs, Ecclesiastes, Lamentations, and Esther.

The Five Megillot (also described in the Encyclopedia Judaica) comprise the books of Ruth, Song of Songs, Ecclesiastes, Lamentations, and Esther. They are each "festival scrolls" in Judaism (and have status as "liturgical readings") and grouped together in the "Writings" (Ketuvim) in the Tanakh, so they have a collective identity in that context which is lost (for the most part) in Christian communities and canon(s).
