The speaker Proverbs 8:22 said “The Lord created[1] me the beginning of his way for his works, κύριος ἔκτισέν με ἀρχὴν ὁδῶν αὐτοῦ εἰς ἔργα αὐτοῦ. The Hebrew word qanah does mean "create" at Proverbs 8:22 according to BDB and Halot. [1][2]

Here the word beginning is the head noun of a genitive phrase that is a reference to God’s creation. As αρχή the speaker is the first part of creation, the beginning.

This is parallel to Revelation 3:14 where Jesus is the beginning of what God the Father created. Here too, αρχή is the head noun of the subjective genitive κτισεως του θεού, that unpacks to “God creates.” The Son is the αρχή of what God the Father created. So, Is the beginning of creation at Proverbs 8:22 the same as at Revelation 3:14?
