Exodus 21:10 (NIV);

If he marries another woman, he must not deprive the first one of her food, clothing and marital rights.

The MT (Leningrad Codex) is:

אִם־אַחֶ֖רֶת יִֽקַּֽח־ל֑וֹ שְׁאֵרָ֛הּ כְּסוּתָ֥הּ וְעֹנָתָ֖הּ לֹ֥א יִגְרָֽע

What were marital rights?

1

New American Standard Bible

If he takes to himself another woman, he may not reduce her food, her clothing, or her conjugal rights.

or marital rights [of his first wife].
וְעֹנָתָ֖הּ (wə·‘ō·nā·ṯāh)
Conjunctive waw | Noun - feminine singular construct | third person feminine singular
Strong's Hebrew 5772: Sexual

This is the only place where this word appears in the Bible.

A similar concept is expressed by Paul in 1 Corinthians 7:

3 The husband should fulfill his marital duty to his wife, and likewise the wife to her husband. 4The wife does not have authority over her own body but yields it to her husband. In the same way, the husband does not have authority over his own body but yields it to his wife. 5Do not deprive each other except perhaps by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.
