In order to get a pig do go the direction you want them to go, you have to hit them in the face with a small whip or a cane. God putting bad things in our life can sometimes be like that. The thing is that God brings bad things on these people for purposes other than punishment. In the verses illustrated, the purpose is to turn them away from the pit, not to punish them for the wrong that they've done. | |
