How do I find out when a Bible passage applies to me? ok thank you, slightly confusing but I think I get it...it seems the premise of most preachers sermons are to just take passages out like this and apply them to the peoples lives..so that is why I ask. According to your points though that may not always be the correct way to preach, unless the passage is carefully examined for a connection to our lives if we are in Christ.... |

Is interpretation and application of the Bible dynamic? thanks for updating with a definition of historical horizon. However, I disagree that the Bible can not address new things. Some go to the point of showing that they are supported by the Bible, for example Neuroplasticity and faith or the metaphysical world and the spiritual world. |

I wonder if there is really anything objective in the Bible except for a view of it in history. btw what is a definition of "historical horizon"? can't seem to find one...thank you. |
