Once upon a time I worked in a factory to pay for my CS degree. I was promoted several times into engineering and then into engineering management. To switch back to my goal of a computer programming became expensive - upper end engineering salary vs mid level programmer. So I wrote code to automate engineering processes ("Expert System" if you will). Then one day I made an executive decision and made the career change and have been happier but poorer since.

Are men (brethren) really men or are they human? So when it talks about "אַחִים" being priests, does that exclude females? I'll try to find a passage, but if you want to answer it as a "what if", you can. |

Psalm 51:5 CEV vs ESV NVL says "from my very beginning". NCV says "gave birth to me". MSG says "conceive a new, true life". ERV "I left my mother’s womb". My question is more does "יחם" mean conceive as we know it today as @H3br3wHamm3r81 mentions. Also, is "יחם" the universal word used? |

Upon whom do we call? Reconciling OT & NT @Mike It's pretty common to have the lack of understanding that YHWH and Adonai are the same. After all Yeshua was the incarnation of the logos which isn't exactly the same as saying that he was the incarnation of YHWH. Especially if you're JW (christiananswers.net/q-acb/acb-r001.html). However this is border line a theological question and not a hermeneutic question. |

Bart D. Ehrman - respected critic? If the ever living God is just that, living and thus changing, I wonder if the book attributed to him should be as well. Therefore, it's not the inerrant state of the text within the Bible but the infallibility of the morals of the stories. |
