comment “but” deliver us from evil
You seem to be focusing on the word 'lead' - the question is asking about the word 'but'.

Questions here are looking for answers that show the techniques used to arrive at your conclusions - joining the dots from the text itself all the way up. You've just given us what you believe not the crucial why you believe it.

comment Does Paul refer to his past or present evil/sin in Romans 7
Hi Richard, thanks for your comment. I agree there is a wider context, but I'm trying not to go beyond answering the question: "Does Paul refer to his past or present evil/sin in Romans 7". Does that make sense?

Susan's right, this doesn't really help unless you tell us why you think they were astronomers and that they typically travelled in groups of three. How do you know that? When you say "the Bible says", it's helpful to quote the verse(s), but when you make factual assertions about history it's helpful to show us your source or reasoning.

comment Did Adam and Eve not have sex in the Garden of Eden?
@curiousdannii I'm not sure if I want to apply a metric of plausibility to any part of Gen 1-11. It doesn't seem appropriate to the genre.
