comment Where should the Messianic application begin and end in Jacob's blessing to Judah?
Scripture is such a wonderfully rich tapestry: I look forward to seeing it 'face to face' rather than 'in a mirror dimly'. Thanks for the update :)

comment Where should the Messianic application begin and end in Jacob's blessing to Judah?
Speaking personally, I like the question and the answer, though I think the answer in particular could be clearer. I presume your source is your own thinking on the subject, right?

comment Why is the Septuagint (LXX) significant?
@H3br3wHamm3r81 This is how I interpret 2 Peter 1:20-21: "knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone's own interpretation. For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit." Do you read that differently to me? It'd be great to say hello in The Library if you'd be willing to share your thoughts with me in there?

comment Reading the Bible via verse and chapter and not getting the intended meaning?
This is a great question, and I sympathise with your reasons for asking it. It's also on-topic as it is essentially asking about hermeneutics: techniques and frameworks for understanding the meaning of Biblical texts. But as Dan mentions the question is also broad: too broad for the site in my view as it lends itself to any number of good answers. If you'd like to discuss how we could edit the question to reduce it's scope, please drop by the site chat room

comment Coherence-Based Genealogical Method vs. Local Text-Types Theory
no, the site welcomes Jewish, Christian, Atheist and other viewpoints as long as they take seriously the process of understanding the Biblical texts.

+1, this is very useful and just the kind of approach we need on the site: good research and clear communication. Do you mean you can only ever access the site from your phone or just right now?
