Interpretations of Elihu in Job @MVS I don't think anyone is attacking your answer or saying it is 'wrong' we welcome contributions from people with your beliefs whether or not we share them, if we can follow the logic of what you are saying. That might be easier if you explained yourself more fully in the answer: please take the time to flesh out what your argument from scripture is, as it is certainly not obvious to me. For example, are you arguing that the KJV is a good translations and others are not? Are you arguing that the 3rd person is not usually used except by the author? We don't know unless you tell us. |

Is God still at war with Amalek? In other words it has prophetic overtones and v6 could be anticipating a future fulfilment (perhaps in addition to a past, lesser fulfilment)? |

Is God still at war with Amalek? also he links to Esau as does Joseph in his answer |

Is God still at war with Amalek? Thanks! He also cross-references Numbers 24:20, which is interesting as (eg) judgement against Edom can be directly compared to judgement against Amalek. |

Is God still at war with Amalek? Out of interest, I've discovered Psalm 9:5-6 where David uses similar language. |

Did Mark intend to end his gospel at 16:8? extensive edit to improve format and style, add a link, and tone down the rhetoric, hopefully all the while retaining the spirit of the original answer. |

Does Mark 11:26 mean we are not forgiven by God unless we forgive others? I've changed the tone of this question to justify re-opening: it's now more focused on the text the question comes from, and the tone is less contraversial I hope. I've tried o stay true to the original intent, I hope I've succeeded. |

Why does the Septuagint contain non-Tanakh books? also, please try and back up any such factual claim with evidence (eg sources etc)! |

Why does the Septuagint contain non-Tanakh books? If I understand you correctly, you are disputing that "the Septuagint was a Jewish publication", or perhaps even that it was a distinct 'publication' at all? If so, please edit your answer to make that clear (including the relevant parts of your comments here), thanks! |
