How do I read your display name? Exactly as it sounds, of course :P (it says "My name is Dan" in broad, phonemic IPA transcription).

comment What is “Parousia”? Does it have any relation to the second coming of Christ?
I've narrowed this down to focus it on one specific text and its application to the broader Pauline corpus. We don't have a clear definition of what constitutes 'the Bible', and that would be much too broad since παρουσία is a Greek term and 'the Bible' is written in at least two additional languages. I've also removed the secondary question which begins from a theological concept rather than from the text. You should be able to get a good understanding from the question as it is currently worded.

focused on a specific text, narrowed question since 'Bible' is not defined nor agreed upon, and is too broad

comment Does Titus 2:13 refer to one person or two?
In addition to not addressing the Greek text whatsoever as Susan noted (rather than treating the Syriac as an early translation that provides supplemental evidence for an argument from the Greek text), I also downvoted for what I believe to be erroneous information (commonly espoused by Aramaic primacists) in your dating of the Peshitta (had you said 'by the fifth century' rather than 'before the fourth century', it would be accurate).

comment Meaning of στοιχεῖον (stoicheion)
This is a question about a Greek phrase. It is expected that answers will deal with the Greek language and cite reliable lexical and other relevant resources.

Welcome to BH.SE! Please take our site tour. and check out what makes us different from other sites that study the Bible. We value answers that show their work, which is a requirement on this site. I'm struggling to understand what a twentieth century organization that helps alcoholics has to do with understanding a first century text.

Welcome to BH.SE! Please take our site tour. and check out what makes us different from other sites that study the Bible. As David pointed out, it is difficult to discern in here what the question is. This seems more like a discussion forum post asking for feedback/thoughts/comments rather than a clear question asking for an answer. We are a Q&A site, not a forum. Can you focus this more and make it clear what you are asking and which specific text you are asking about?

And I also made a small edit to focus it on the original context rather than applying it to a modern religious group. Be sure to check out what makes us different from other sites that study the Bible.

Also, note that claiming the meaning of a specific word in a given context on the basis of the Strong's Concordance is not a reliable claim. Please see this post which explains how to effectively (and properly) use Strong's Concordance.

comment Galatians 6:10 - true meaning of 'and especially'
Welcome to BH.SE. I'm glad you're here. Please don't take the minor prodding personally, it's how we all learn and grow :) This is an interesting answer, but I'm not sure 'namely' brings out the superlative sense of μάλιστα (it would be helpful if you summarized the argument of Skeat's paper, as it stands you haven't really explained this interpretive choice - and I'm not sure why you reference an argument you've never read). Even so, I did not downvote since you acknowledged that this is 'less likely'.
