Based on recent manuscript discoveries, is the LXX more reliable than the MT? I added a couple tags to help interested parties find this (I also plan on answering when I have a chance). |

Reading the Bible via verse and chapter and not getting the intended meaning? This is essentially asking for hermeneutics. This is a broad question. |

Coherence-Based Genealogical Method vs. Local Text-Types Theory @theosis I did actually find an English version of the INTF site as well as a lot of their material in English. I would recommend following the link in the post which will take you to it (I linked the text in your response). Thanks again |

Coherence-Based Genealogical Method vs. Local Text-Types Theory Hello theosis! Thanks for answering! I have awarded you a bounty (50 points) plus voted for your response. I'd love to hear any additional sources you may have for explaining CBGM, if you add some I will also mark this as the accepted answer. I edited a couple spelling errors and added a link to the SBLGNT to help other users find it, I hope you don't mind (you can always change it back if you'd like). Thanks again, this is a great answer! |

What is the purpose of Elijah's travels? Turns out there are different Gilgal's: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gilgal . The Gilgal in the times of Elijah and Elisha is in a logical place for travelling. |

Pre-Christian, Jewish interpretation of Psalm 22 I know this is mostly citations. I had intended to fully read the articles and write my own summaries but since a better answer is already posted I just kept it simple and short. |

What is the purpose of Elijah's travels? ahh, in the map I used from Logos which was specifically mapping this journey, Gilgal is west of Bethel |
