Welcome to Biblical Hermeneutics Stack Exchange! Be sure to take our site tour to learn more about us. We're a little different from other sites. Please keep in mind that this is not a Christian site. Be sure to check out what makes us different from other sites that study the Bible. I've made some small edits in your post to address this.

@Anonymous gotcha.

Good answer, +1 from me.

comment To what does the time clause connect in Revelation 13:8?
@Anonymous ahh, I was confused because you said 'piece together,' which made me think you compared manuscript discrepancies and alternate readings. So essentially you copied and pasted from a specific critical text. Now I understand :)

@RaphaelRosch FYI I just edited this to use blockquote rather than code block formatting for your quotes. +1 from me, good work.

@Anonymous have you been trained in or studied Greek or New Testament textual criticism?

comment “How did Jesus' ”teaching with authority“ differ from the Scribes?”
yes, things are a little different in these parts of the SE neighborhood, notably that we require a lot more from answers than many other sites (with the possible exception of Skeptics.SE). We want folks to approach answering like math homework (show your work, don't just give us answers/assertions) combined with writing for school (cite sources, develop ideas fully, write clearly, spell everything out). It can take a little getting used to.

comment What did Paul mean by “Arsenokoitēs”? Was he condemning homosexual activity as we know it today?
Welcome to Biblical Hermeneutics Stack Exchange! Be sure to take our site tour to learn more about us. We're a little different from other sites. While this answers the question, it would be preferable to elaborate more here (summarize the relevant portions of the resource that answer this question), and provide the source for reference, rather than just copying and pasting from a lexicon.

Welcome to Biblical Hermeneutics Stack Exchange! Be sure to take our site tour to learn more about us. We're a little different from other sites. This is very interesting, but it doesn't show its work, which is a requirement on this site. Don't just tell us what you know, tell us how you know it. Could you please cite a source that claims this about ancient mythology?

comment How are we to interpret the Moon turning into blood, in Joel 2:31 and Rev 6:12?
Welcome to Biblical Hermeneutics Stack Exchange! Be sure to take our site tour to learn more about us. We're a little different from other sites. We aren't a typical forum, we're a Q&A site, and we expect all posts to show their work. You've done a good job for the first part of the question, but how is it different from the Moon simply turning dark (the second part of the question)?

comment Does the use of “when” rather than “if” in Matthew 6 imply a necessity?
Except this isn't a traditional forum, it's a Q&A site where we expect posts to show their work, which is a requirement on this site. Don't just tell us what you know, tell us how you know it. You're fine on this since you did show which works are cited, but in the future please treat this more like writing a paper than like posting on a forum.
