I have nearly 15 years experience of full stack .NET development since its inception that covers design, development, testing, analysis, debugging, deploying, and then some.
My current hobbies are:
Writing cleanly formatted and highly optimized code. Refactoring is one of my favorite things to do. There's nothing like beautiful, readable code that performs as well as it possibly can!
Trying to stay up-to-date on new technologies that seem to coming out at a rapid pace.
Of which, my current focus is trying to decide on which technologies are going to last the longest so I'm not re-writing code every 2 years.
On the back-end, I'm thinking ASP.NET vNext is going to shake some things up and be a great thing for years to come.
On the front-end, I'm leaning towards Telerik's DevCraft since they just released: Announcing the Telerik Kendo UI Q1 2015 Roadmap wherein they pledge:
"...commitment for the next release of the Kendo UI MVC wrappers is to stay in line with the ASP.NET vNext development and public Beta versions, and deliver official support for vNext and Visual Studio 2015 shortly after they are released officially by Microsoft...."
Not to mention, it's fast and light with AngularJS integration, Bootstrap support, mobile controls, and offline data solutions.
