If it's good enough for the Indiana legislature it's good enough for me!

comment Per 1 Cor 10:8, when did God kill 23,000 for sexual immorality?
Thank you! I remembered Phineas and the spear, but hadn't remembered the context at all.

comment Who was a greater king: Hezekiah or Josiah?
My point is that people overuse superlatives all the time. My daughter will tell you that Lincoln and Washington are both our greatest President EVER! (She is, however, smart enough to realize that David Tennant is better than Matt Smith, but I digress).

Not to be snarky, but the only objective answer to that question would be someone who lived through both kingships, a physical impossibility. It would be like asking, who is the greater ruler, George Washington or Gandhi. The bible is clearly pointing out both were good kings.

comment Why did the witnesses lay their coats at Paul's feet?
Could be as simple as they didn't want to get their outer garments dirty... With blood.

comment Was Moses the probable author of Genesis?
It may not have been Moses, but rather a different man of the same name ;). Seriously, the tradition of authorship is in the work, and even if we found out the scribes name, it would still be "historically ascribed to 'Moses'"
