Who was a greater king: Hezekiah or Josiah? My point is that people overuse superlatives all the time. My daughter will tell you that Lincoln and Washington are both our greatest President EVER! (She is, however, smart enough to realize that David Tennant is better than Matt Smith, but I digress). |

Who was a greater king: Hezekiah or Josiah? Not to be snarky, but the only objective answer to that question would be someone who lived through both kingships, a physical impossibility. It would be like asking, who is the greater ruler, George Washington or Gandhi. The bible is clearly pointing out both were good kings. |

Why did the witnesses lay their coats at Paul's feet? Could be as simple as they didn't want to get their outer garments dirty... With blood. |

Was Moses the probable author of Genesis? It may not have been Moses, but rather a different man of the same name ;). Seriously, the tradition of authorship is in the work, and even if we found out the scribes name, it would still be "historically ascribed to 'Moses'" |

Does Genesis's creation account depict creation “ex nihilo”? @FrankLuke Sadly, I know exactly the origin account of which you speak. I too liked it better, when I didn't know jack. |

What does it mean for someone to be another person's “portion”? It is not odd, btw, to say that we inherit the Lord, because what we really are receiving is the right to be called the Sons of God- John 1:18. |

What does it mean for someone to be another person's “portion”? He is our portion, yes We are told throughout the NT that we are"joint heirs with Christ," and that we can inherit the Kingdom, become Children of God, etc. That we are his inheritance is not so much, because we are simply his creation. He made us and by right owns us, so I'd be less inclined to use the latter. |

Has the meaning of “Love” changed enough to warrant substitutions in Bible translations? Brotherly Affection would imply philo whereas the passage is agapo Godly affection. |
