God and Passive Hebrew tense and aspect I would recommend using either logos or bible works to answer such a question. This is exactly the kind of query they excel at. |

What language are people translating the Bible from? This is totally dependent on the translation, and is almost always described in the Preface. The best ones go to the original Koine and Masoretic texts - older ones rely on the "Textus Receptus" or later Greek manuscripts. |

Are kruvim also angels? The difficulty is that angelos is a Greek word defining the job of a heavenly being (messenger), but has come to mean any heavenly being. Can we say that cherubim are heavenly beings? Yes. Can we say they are messengers? No. But in popular parlance, are angels just messengers or are they any kind of heavenly being? I would argue the popular notion of the word is that second definition - but that second definition doesn't come about until after the Scriptures are written. |

Why the human brain is never mentioned in the Bible? Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and all your mind. Not all organs are mentioned in scripture, and remember, many cultures thought the spirit resided in the gut, not the head. |

When was Jesus's body 'broken' for us? Fair enough, suggestion withdrawn ;) Its rare that I think something would benefit from migration, and the points y'all raise make me agree. |

When was Jesus's body 'broken' for us? I would nominate this for Christianity.SE. BH.SE is for understanding individual words and sensus plenior. You are asking for theology. That said - and I say this as a pastor - good luck finding a forum on a secular site that won't attract people disparaging Paul or Scripture... |
