comment Why did John take Mary, who was married, into his home?
@Stephen Peter is a very emotive and somewhat volatile character who is often the spokesman for the twelve. For example, he walks on water, confesses Christ, rebukes Christ, does not want to have his feet washed by Jesus, and then wants to have his whole body washed by him, to name a few instances. He seems to be the most vocal of the disciples and a natural-born leader.

comment What is the significance of Ezekiel's description of God's heavenly chariot in chapter 1?
@Wikis I was in a Bible study and was reading several commentaries for it. I lost my steam on this answer and it garnered little attention so I didn't return. I'm afraid now that I would learn more from this answer than be able to add to it... but I'll keep it in mind the next time I study Ezekiel. :)

comment “the first day of the week” in 1 Corinthians 16:2
I see you've edited a lot since I first made the comment, so I just deleted the comment. It's been a long while since I made it and I would have to study back through to give you helpful feedback at this point. However, I don't really participate here much anymore; I've found other avenues for my energies because I'm burnt out by the meta battles. So let it stand---glad to see you have come up to speed on the site. :)

comment Why does Jesus refuse to help the Syrophoenician woman, and then help her?
So how do you explain the fact that he does in fact answer her request?
