What did Job believe? Tapw, I've made a fairly substantial edit to combine this post with your other one. Please review. If I've misunderstood your intent or you don't like the way I rearranged things or there's any other problem, please feel free to edit further or roll back my changes. I'm going to flag the other answer for deletion now (or if you get there first you can just delete it yourself). |

Who is Wisdom in Proverbs @H3br3wHamm3r81, good point. There are multiple words for many words, including "make" (also bara here, for instance). Your possession angle is interesting; I'll need to think more about that. I don't think saying that God "made" wisdom necessarily means that God wasn't wise before, though; the ingredients had to come from somewhere/one, after all. :-) "Made" could mean "made as a separate thing". |

Differences in Genesis creation stories Hello and welcome to BH. You've indirectly answered part of the question, by saying that chapter 2 happened on day 8+. Could you expand on that to also talk about the rest of chapter 2 -- how do you reconcile the differences in vegetation, for instance? Also, as a style thing, all-caps sounds like shouting so when you edit your answer, could you alter that formatting? Thanks. Finally, this site does not presume any doctrine, christian or otherwise, and your answer would be much stronger if you removed the final two words and focused on Genesis. |

Is there an interpretation of the blood and water that poured from Jesus' side (John 19:34) that involves, in part, some physiological component? Hello and thank you for bringing this interesting question here! I've made some edits to your question, which you can review by clicking the "edited" link above. If I've inadvertantly changed your meaning, you can edit further (and if I have, I apologize). Welcome to the site. |

Is there an interpretation of the blood and water that poured from Jesus' side (John 19:34) that involves, in part, some physiological component? linked to other question; massaged style a bit; highlighted question at end; added new tag; removed some doctrine since we're text-focused |
