I am called to, "Teach the Word of the Lord; sing it to the nations loud and clear."
I enjoy inductive Bible study!
I study to show myself approved unto God.
I am intent upon what Scripture says, what it means and, what difference it makes.
I do not need to be right; but, I do need to discover what is right; thus, I welcome honest interaction/feedback.

comment Chapter and verse numbers in Greek vs Hebrew/Aramaic
TN. Did you meant Hebrew vs Greek? If you meant Aramaic, is your question in regard to Aramaic portions of the OT or to the Aramaic Peshitta/Peshitto? If the latter, you might try asking in the forum at Peshitta.org.

revised What is Apostle Paul's “thorn in the flesh”?
I decided the answer should stay focused entirely and directly in answer to the question, what was Paul's thorn in the flesh.

revised What does Paul mean by “unworthy manner” in 1 Corinthians 11:27-32?
The order of answers changes; so there may or may not be an answer above and it may not be the one to which your originally referred.

Hello Debby. It sounds like you have some light you wish to shed on the subject. Your contribution sounds interesting; however, as it stands now, is more like a comment than a well thought out answer. Answers in this forum need to have a thesis and well supported points that follow a logical progression of thought. Consider re-writing your answer directly in answer to the question rather than in regard to another answer. Write from your perspective, presenting facts. Make clear points and support each with evidence.

comment Why did the Mosaic Law prohibit the ancient Israelites from eating pork?
YHWH gave these instructions to Israel; "it is unclean to you." It is remarkable that right with this He says also the following about not eating things that die: "Deut 14:21 You shall not eat anything that dies [of itself]; you may give it to the alien who [is] within your gates, that he may eat it, or you may sell it to a foreigner; for you are a holy people to the LORD your God." They could give it to a foreigner, but they could not eat it themselves for they are holy people to YHWH their God.
