@YoMrWhite I thought the Vulgate OT was translated from Hebrew, not from the LXX. Could you check again or be more specific?

@Dan Thanks for your comment. I am asking about the cultural phenomenon of people saying that the Vulgate is inaccurate. I've heard this a couple of times in the past decade. The comments I heard (unfortunately I don't remember specifics) may or may not have been correct and may or may not apply to the Nova Vulgata. I'm asking about folk opinion and folk examples. If all such criticism is isolated, there is no point in answering, but if there are common themes, an answer will be informative and valuable. (To ask for an analysis of the entire Vulgate in that regard would indeed be too broad.)
