revised Is dispensationalism a theological framework or a hermeneutical approach?
Somehow the generic "man" feels less sexist than the plural "men". (That wasn't my main reason for editing, but all the other edits are fairly self-explanatory.)

revised What do women do when they're “ministering” in front of God's tabernacle?
General tidying. Link text.

revised “A god” or “God” in John 1:1?
Tidied formatting. Made quotation from NWT Appendix more obvious. Small tweaks to grammar.

revised When was the Torah written or compiled?
Tidied grammar. Added clarification from questioner's comments on one of the answers. I'm not fond of the first sentence (it invites the question, "Much later than what?", but I can't see an easy way to fix it without prepending an entire paragraph laying out the Moses hypothesis.

comment What is the meaning of the reference to 'stones' in Ecclesiastes 3?
Why do all the fields in the west of Ireland have stone walls around them? Usually, there are open gates, and sheep have the run of three or four fields, so why have the walls? Well, because they needed somewhere to put the stones, of course. I wonder whether analogous conditions existed in ancient Israel.

comment Is NWT's translation of John 8:58 reasonable?
Claiming to be God may be one form of blasphemy, but it's hardly the only one, @FrankLuke. You can't get from "they thought it was blasphemy" to "he was claiming to be God".

revised Those who believe are “especially” saved?
Improved formatting: used a quote block instead of a code block. (Double spaces at the ends of lines preserve linebreaks.)

comment How is the New World Translation's usage of “Jehovah” controversial?
Note: This answer was excerpted and very slightly rewritten from a something I wrote on Christianity Stack Exchange.
