I'm a hobbyist programmer, part-time sysadmin, and full-time data center automation consulting engineer.

What are the holy Scriptures that Timothy has known from his youth? @swasheck - the first of the NT books was written ~49 AD (or, arguably, ~42AD - though those were letters to individuals or churches, not gospels). Paul wrote Timothy in ~65AD. There is no way Timothy could have heard any of the "New Testament" at his grandmother's knee unless at least the following happened: a) he was close to Israel, b) he is under 20 when Paul writes him |

Did women contribute to the temple in exodus 35:22? @RonMaimon - while you are welcome to your opinions, the odds that a single person (regardless of who that may be) has gotten a translation "right" over hundreds and thousands of others is highly improbable. Perhaps you should consider that your translation is not really as good as you think it might be. |
